Well, I lost my job today.....
All last week, my boss Ross was acting really weird....he was forgetting where all the food was, and was getting the orders wrong, and he even forgot about things he'd already done earlier that day. He also kept telling us about dreams he kept having about him and his mom (she passed away) just walking together...
Then, a few days ago, they found quite a large tumor in his brain....
So what looks like might end up happening is that they're going to shut down the grill, since it's his family that mostly works there. They started letting people go today, myself included.
So today is kind of mixed emotional for me: On the one side, not having to work means I get to go on a river rafting/mountain biking/hiking/camping trip with my venturing crew, and I could go to Nevada to spend time with my cousins. On the other hand, I hate watching Ross go through this, and it's not easy for his family. Oh, and I'm out of a job...
So that's the update, hope everyone's summer is going good! =D

I love to write, and I want to be a novelist if I grow up, and I think it would be cool to be an archaeologist. Jessica, I'm so sorry! I went to Salem on Monday and stopped in to visit. You weren't there so I thought I would go get a milk shake and visit with you. You weren't there either. I missed seeing you, but I did get a fresh strawberry shake! Onward and Upward! Now you have a first job out of the way! How about the floral shop in Salem. That might be more to your likeing!
